Ms. Christine Syriac is a retired Superintendent of Public Schools residing in Connecticut. She has remained active in the educational arena through multiple Interim Superintendent appointments, and by coaching new superintendents for the Connecticut Association of Public School Superintendents (CAPSS). Ms. Syriac received her Educational Leadership Degree from the University of Connecticut through the NEAG School of Education. Ms. Syriac has over 40 years of experience in public education and over 25 years of experience in administration. Ms. Syriac has formerly served as a Middle School Principal, Associate Superintendent and Superintendent of the Seymour Public Schools prior to retiring in 2017. Since her retirement, Ms. Syriac has served as an Interim Superintendent in several Connecticut school districts. Ms. Syriac has experience in budget development and is a true innovator, analytical person, and active listener.
